Terms of Service
Last updated: May 2026
1. Acceptance of terms
By using VibeScan (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these terms at any time; continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
2. Permitted use
VibeScan is a passive security scanner. You may only scan URLs for which you have explicit authorisation — either because you own the application or because the owner has granted you permission. Scanning third-party applications without authorisation may violate applicable computer fraud and abuse laws. We reserve the right to terminate access for any misuse.
3. Prohibited use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Scan applications you do not own or have no permission to test
- Conduct denial-of-service attacks or excessive automated requests
- Attempt to reverse-engineer or circumvent the Service
- Use results to attack, extort, or harm the owners of scanned applications
4. No warranty
VibeScan is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. Security scanning is inherently limited — a passing result does not mean your application is free of vulnerabilities. We make no guarantees that all security issues will be detected. Do not rely solely on VibeScan as your only security measure.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VibeScan and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to data loss, security breaches, or business interruption, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
6. Intellectual property
All content, branding, and code comprising the VibeScan service are owned by VibeScan. Scan reports generated for your application are yours to use freely. You may not scrape, reproduce, or resell the Service without written permission.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which VibeScan operates. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing formal legal remedies.
